We assume the "Olive" came from his grandmother's name but have no clue where the Brewster cam from. There are no Brewsters in our family." On 2 Oct 2002, Arlene wrote: "I discovered that Archelaus [Sr.] was actually in the American Revolution.. . . He was a soldier. . . I have sent for the record to show what his service was. . . . I suspect he was given bounty land."
